Norman is the son of Toini Norman and Mervin Norman. He was born in Mount Isa, Queensland, Australia on 10th February 1955. His father Toini was an Electrical Engineer. His mother was a Finnish Carpenter’s daughter but had a women golfer having a single-digit handicap number.
